Author's Notes | Using these types of fertilizers is easy and can be relatively inexpensive when applied correctly. Be sure to mix it thoroughly to prevent settling. Since the fertilizer may leave a white residue on the leaves, it is advisable to water directly on the surface of the growing media in the pot. Ensure that between applications, the plant is thoroughly watered to help remove any excess nutrients in the growing media. |
