Monoecious plants have male (staminate) and female (pistillate) flowers on the same plant. The flowers can be either separate flowers or within the same flower. Some monoecious plants: Squash, Pumpkins, Melons, Willows, Birches, Oak, Hazelnuts, Corn, etc.
