Sunlight | Best with some sun but shaded the rest, I grew mine in full hot sun, and they struggled, but as the weather cooled and we had an extended period of cloudy days they took off. |

Flowers | The color of the calyxes could be a deep burgundy to a blood red. The flowers usually a dark red |

Author's Notes | I am going to grow this plant again in the summer of 2021 in a spot that gives some shade and see how this works. The summer of 2020 wasn't a total loss since at the end of August through mid-October they were full of blossoms. |
