White Cedar (Thuja occidentalis) These plants have been here for over 25 years (as of 2001). During one season we had an early ice storm that cracked many of the lower branches and the tops of both of these plants. I cut out the broken top and trained a new leader. Cut off the bottom branches and the plants are still thriving today.
