Misc Facts
The name Helleborus is Greek from hellein meaning “to kill” and bora meaning “food” referring to the plant’s poisonous qualities if placed in food. Found in India in 1839.

If there is a negative to these plants is the fact many times the nodding flowers are hinden in the foliage or face the foliage and are hard to see the flowers.
