Tuff Stuff (Hydrangea serrata) is a new, improved version of the Mountain Hydrangea.

FlowersThe flowers are of the lacecap type. Acidic soil produces blue flowers, while a more alkaline pH produces pink flowers. Blooms on old and new wood. The flowers consist of fertile, non-showy center flowers and showy, non-fertile flowers. The non-fertile flowers are made of sepals.
LeavesLeaves are simple, serrated green leaves that turn reddish in the fall.
