2-3 inch flowers, eight ray flowers (petal wanna bees) listed as white with margins of crimson, but in my garden I had all white, all pink, all almost red and most combinations of these, in the color fall most of the colors were a dark pink

sessile or short-petioled leaves, narrow linear pinnate segments, ferny in appearance, branches can become brittle

tall listed as 3-4 my plants exceeded this
Maintenance:
dead heading, may need staking, I pruned some of the larges branches back to keep them in bounds

very easy from seeds

Cosmos is derived from Greek kosmos (beautiful, ornament). (www.plantlives.com). The genus cosmos is native to Mexico.
