One of the more common Goldenrods. Quickly colonizes disturbed areas or open fields. As with all Goldenrod's, they are not the culprit that cause allergy problems. Their pollen is relatively heavy and is carried away by insects not the wind.

This is a very aggressive wild flower. I have seen it "duke it out" with Crown Vetch and win!
