Misc FactsThis is a host plant for the Checkered White Butterfly caterpillar. Dentaria refers to the tooth like swellings on the root. Lacinata refers to the leaves, having slashed or torn into narrow divisions.
Author's NotesThis ephemeral wild flower will form thick patches of plants. The blooms great a drift of white. I have seen patches of pure white flowering plants next to a patch of pure light violet plants. A fairly common ephemeral wild flower in southeastern Wisconsin (USA), where I live.
