FruitDivision every few years will invigorate the plant. After flowering this plant can be cut back in two ways. Cut back the entire plant to 2-3 inches from the base. It will than start to produce a mat of new foliage. Also after bloom the flowers can dead headed and the plant can be trimmed back a few inch and it should remain green throughout the rest of the growing season.
