MaintenancePruning ground cover Junipers can be challenging. Many people simply trim the ends, resulting in pointed stubby branches after a few years. To achieve a softer outside edge, lift up the outer branches and cut the underneath branches. Feather back the top branches to a branch node. Occasionally, some branches may die for no reason, and pruning shears will be needed to remove them.
