MaintenanceWhen removing this shrub from the landscape you most treat the cut stem with a herbicide to prevent suckering or pull out the stump. If the shrubs were in a location for a long time there will be a seed bank and seedling will appear for many years. Easy to pull when they are young.

Author's NotesAlthough listed as invasive I have only seen it in the wild once. Very easy to distinguish from its cousins by the narrow upright growth habit.
