DescriptionCumulus Allegheny Serviceberry (Amelanchier laevis) This plant can be considered a small tree or a large shrub. Has white flowers in the early spring followed by edible fruit. Grows best in the semi-shade, moist sites but tolerates average sites. Has four seasons of interest.

Author's NotesAs kids we picked the fruit from these plants and they were all growing in open areas in the woods.
