| A ring of fungus growing in a ring from a central point. Each year the ring will increase in diameter.The oldest know Fairy Ring is 1 KM in diameter and over 700 years old. On the hills around Stone hedge one ring is a 100 meters in diameter and 300 years old. Most commonly seen in the fall of the year. These rings were attributed to fairies dancing. |
